Wondering why I am reviewing an Air Purifier, whereas I am a Site Reliability Engineer?

It is all related to reliability. Reliability is directly proportional to quality.

You buy a product so that your need is satisfied. When that expectation is served with a high-cost product that is not working when you need it, then that product is useless.

Issues:

• Switching on this thing is like starting an old oil engine. If it starts you are lucky. Or you have to keep trying options.
• The touch screen is a joke.
• Feels like the internal state machine is corrupt. Buttons randomly work. If the air purifier goes into auto mode or any mode, you have to struggle to change the mode
• Asks frequently to reset the filter
• Resetting this thing is not working.
• Loses connectivity with the app

Recommendation: Don’t buy this product. This product is not reliable.
